Things that will interest a small number of people on the planet

Let's face it. Personal home pages exist primarily for the author, and a few of his family and friends. A lot of what ends up written on this page will bore the hell out of you. So be it, it's my page.
June 15, 2004 Whoah! A weblog! What will I do next?
July 12, 2002 Hey! I finally have the message board working again!
January 26, 2001 We are now all prepared for our Spring Break trip to Arizona. We will be flying Delta to Phoenix, then rent a car from Alamo and spend a few days sans kids in Tucson. I have learned a valuable lesson about buying airplane tickets early though. Our tickets cost almost twice as much as if I had purchased them a week earlier. At least I still saved a few bucks by making the plane and car arrangements using Priceline. William Shatner or no William Shatner, it worked out pretty well.
December 13, 2000 Well, I now have a Perl script in place to greatly simplify the addition and archival of news items. What does this mean to you, the innocent bystander? More boring stuff about my life!

Of course, like any good geek, I made the script generic, so it can be used to make any number of pages on my web site dynamically uninteresting. So, I present to you my Complaint of the Day page (also accessible via the Opinion page).

December 1, 2000 Because a spammer successfully navigated my barriers to sending me e-mail, I've erected another. My contact page now uses an e-mail form, rather than just popping up your e-mail client. This will be a benefit to those with misconfigured, multiple or non-existant e-mail clients, as well.
November 9, 2000 Two new additions to the site! First, for the convenience of my loved ones, I have posted my gift list for all to see. I'll keep adding to it as things pop into my head.

Next, I now have a message board in which all who visit are welcome to vent upon me mercilessly in anonomity.

Oh, and I understand there's some sort of tension between Gush and Bore. I don't really care, I voted for Harry.

October 18, 2000 I have added a crassly commercial page to my site, simply because I can. Go there at your own risk.

In other news, Arthur Hu, as well as all other contenders, were eliminated in the primary election, leaving the incumbent unopposed on the November ballot. I continue to support Arthur as a write-in candidate, not because I believe it will succeed, but simply because I like him.

September 14, 2000 In a move guaranteed to confound the political establishment to its very core, I have announced my support for Arthur Hu as Washington State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Arthur has pissed off pretty much everybody in the Lake Washington School District Bureaucracy, how could I not like him?
September 5, 2000 I have upgraded to Onestop's US$6.95/month hosting plan. My conscience is clear, and my visitors will now be able to use their back button to leave my site. Eventually, I may even add some cgis to the site.
August 16, 2000 New pictures of the girls are up on Allie's page and Katie's page.
